This talk provides an introduction to the fundamentals of research data management. We invite you to follow the lifecycle of research data and learn about various aspects of research data management, such as data management plans, metadata, FAIR data, data publication and much more.

Speaker: Dr. Anne Vieten, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

Dr. Anne Vieten is a research data management specialist at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, working within the Division of Research and Technology Transfer. She coordinates the university’s Competence Team for Research Data Management and is actively involved in the development of FAIR data practices, digital research infrastructures, and cross-institutional cooperation in Rhineland-Palatinate. In addition, she contributes to training and advisory activities related to sustainable and responsible research data management
